Contest description


Every year, our creativity hits its limit while searching for Christmas gifts to please our loved ones.

Should the gift be bought or better be self-made? How big and expensive should it be? Is my present boring or will it blow the receiver’s mind?


Year after year we have to struggle with these questions. But we accept the challenge because we are looking forward to Christmas Eve, when everyone is happy and thankful and all the effort pays off.


Why not join hands and share good ideas?


That’s what our “Christmas Gift Contest” is all about. The idea is simple: Everyone can post their ideas for unique Christmas gifts to the community, and add comments and constructive feedback to others’ ideas.


We are looking forward to great ideas! The more creative, innovative and fancy your ideas, the better!

Please subtitle your idea with the category that fits best to it.
We will select one winner for each of the following Categories:

  • Priceless Moments:
    		• gifts that deliver unique moments, which cannot be compensated with money
  • Less than 50 €:
    		• your gift costs less than 50 €
  • For kids:
    		• your idea is a gift for children
  • Self-made:
    		• your gift has to be self-made

    Idea Submission


    The submission of ideas is really simple. You can enter your idea with the help of an easy-to-use submission procedure.

    For the submission of an idea, please complete the following steps:


    1. Develop your idea!
    2. Specify your idea, title (give your idea a clear title) and description of your idea.
    3. Subtitle your idea with the selected category
    4. Add further attachments to your idea contribution (optional)
      • Upload images (.JPG, .GIF, .PNG, .IGS, .STP, .3DS, .VRML; max. 5MB)
      • Upload documents (DOC, PDF, XLS, PPT, TXT, CSV)
      • Add video
    5. Add Tags (optional)
    6. Submit your idea


    Community Evaluation


    Every registered community member can comment ideas and thus participate in the discussion. The Ideas can also be evaluated with one to five stars by the following evaluation criteria:


    • Creativity
    • Degree of surprise
    • Fanciness
    • Presentation
